Thirty years of South Carolina law

Barry J. Bernstein has been licensed to practice in South Carolina since 1995. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where his graduating class selected him for its only peer-evaluated award, and a bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina, where he was named Outstanding Senior.

Before opening this practice in 2022, he served as Deputy Attorney General of South Carolina and as Chief of Staff of that office. He also retired as a colonel after thirty-four years of military service, the last fifteen as a JAG officer.

What that adds up to for a client is judgment: a clear read on which issues are worth fighting and which are noise.
